Have you felt like this after a long flight? Cranky, stiff, dehydrated, fatigued? These are just a few of the symptoms you may have that collectively is called jet lag. The definitive cause of jet lag is not known, but many believe it is the result of flying at high speed at high altitudes, which throws off the body’s rhythm.
Remedies suggested for jet lag are numerous. Taking a daytime flight, cold showers, no alcohol or caffeine before or during the flight, acupuncture or melatonin are just a few recommendations. What is your favorite?
Sometimes these suggestions work and sometimes they do not. To help you out, I would like to add massage therapy to your list of solutions. You may want a massage after your flight or the next day, which would be my choice, to help ease some of that fatigue.
Enjoy your trip!
