Japanese tea ceremony? Nope, even though I am a huge fan of tea. My search for a non-bitter green tea to drink daily continues and I am always intrigued by tea-related events. So when I saw this tea ritual online, I was surprised to find that it is about massage.
You recognize this, don't you? Bamboo. It is a type of grass with a hard hollow stem. These woody stalks come in an assortment of sizes, lengths and thickness and make excellent massage tools.
A new client asked that question a few days ago. Apparently, she had a dinner invite and was trying to figure out how to time her massage session. The meal was expected to be a heavy, satisfying one with dessert, espresso, and alcohol. She wanted to know if she should have the massage or the meal first.
Recently I came across an article about cows get massages to make them mellow and produce more milk.
